  • 2011: Local Indicators for Excellence (LIFE) Study

This study assesses the quality of life in the Fox Cities, and in 2011 it indicated that children and teens in our area needed better access to mental health care.

  • 2012: A Community of Support

In response to the 2011 LIFE study, community leaders came together with the three major health systems in our area, Ascension Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin and ThedaCare, to form Catalpa Health.

  • 2013: School-Based Programs Launch to Improve Access

In partnership with United Way Fox Cities and the J.J. Keller Foundation, Catalpa launched a school-based program that provided therapy to kids and teens at their schools instead of in a clinic. The school-based program has continued to grow and in 2023 we are serving more than 40 schools in and around the Fox Valley. We’ve continued to partner with United Way Fox Cities for our PATH school-based program. United Way’s PATH (Providing Access to Healing) for Students is a school-based program designed to improve access to mental health services for children and youth who are unable to obtain care elsewhere in the community.

  • 2014: Catalpa Services Expand to Oshkosh Clinic

The Oshkosh location opened in July and provided better access to families in the area. The clinic now sees hundreds of children every year.

  • 2020: Telehealth Services Expand to Address COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic brought on the challenge of telehealth – how do we continue to serve our families when they can’t be in our office? We’ve continued to build out telehealth practice and still offer telehealth as an option for many of our services.

  • 2022: Catalpa Health Celebrates 10 Years

Since opening our doors in 2012, providers at Catalpa Health have supported over 250,000 children and teens through over a dozen service lines and specialty clinics. We are so proud of our accomplishments and grateful for the amazing support from our communities and partners!
