Alicia Hans, MSW, LCSW

Alicia Hans, MSW, LCSW, is a school-based mental health clinician with the Rise Up program in the Oshkosh Area School District. Alicia received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and has years of experience working with both children and adults dealing with pervasive, severe mental illness using a strengths-based person-centered approach to achieving goals and maintaining wellness.
Alicia works with children ages 5 to 18 in the school setting, and treats disorders and symptoms related to anxiety, depression, mood, ADHD, self-esteem, LGBTQ+, relationship problems, emotional regulation, and problematic behaviors. She has a special interest in suicide prevention and treating symptoms of PTSD associated with trauma.
Alicia is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention, both in her work and in the community. In addition to her work with Catalpa, Alicia spends much of her time with close family and friends, usually while enjoying a fine cup of coffee, and at home with her pets – two cats and three chinchillas – which keep her entertained.
