Alison Jacobs, MS, LPC, NCC
Mental Health Therapist
Alison Jacobs, MS, LPC, NCC is a mental health therapist who treats clients with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, low self-esteem, behavior management issues and trauma. Alison sees clients ages two through 18.
She has a special interest in Spanish-speaking clients as well as cross-cultural adjustment and the many factors that affect an individual's mental health in the cultural transition process. She is trained in the integration of theology and psychology and enjoys incorporating faith into the therapy process to the degree the client desires. Alison uses primarily cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy and strengths-based interventions.
Alison holds her Bachelor of Science degree in French and Spanish education from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and her Master of Science degree in counseling psychology from Evangel University. Alison is a licensed professional counselor through the state of Wisconsin and is a nationally certified counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Outside of work, Alison enjoys photography, traveling, painting, yoga and playing piano.
