Mental Health Therapist Post-graduate Trainee
Deanna Sieg, MSE, LPC-IT, NCC, is a mental health therapist post-graduate trainee who has a passion for working with families and children and adolescents. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Master of Science in Education in Professional Counseling, with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. She is currently practicing with Catalpa’s Intensive Outpatient Program.
She believes that children are our future, and fostering support at a young age will help to foster success in the future. Every child deserves a chance to be seen and understood, and they deserve to be successful in life.
Clients are Deanna’s primary focus. She believes that clients deserve the utmost respect and deserve to be listened to. She believes that therapy is about improving clients’ situations, celebrating their successes, and holding them when they need it. Deanna works from a family systems lens. She believes that an individual’s emotional processing, their experiences, and the way in which they live life have been influenced by their family.
Deanna enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves nature and everything it has to offer. She likes hiking, fishing, hunting, and most other outdoor activities. Deanna enjoys playing games and having fun. She values the importance of play and incorporating fun in her everyday life.
