Lindsay Lien, LPC, NCC
Mental Health Therapist
Lindsay Lien, LPC, NCC is a mental health therapist who sees clients ages 8-18 at the treatment center in Appleton, and also provides school-based mental health services through the United Way PATH (Providing Access to Healing) program. She has a special interest in LGBTQA+ and gender identity issues, as well as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, mood disorders, and grief/loss.
Lindsay received her master’s degree in counseling from Idaho State University. She is licensed through the State of Wisconsin as a Licensed Professional Counselor and is a nationally certified counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors.
She strives to offer compassion, support, and encouragement to children, teens and families during challenging times. She is passionate about helping children learn tools and skills to be successful in their own lives. She typically uses client-centered, strength-based, family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
When Lindsay isn’t at Catalpa, she enjoys traveling, watching and playing sports, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
