Liz Walker, LPC
Mental Health Therapist
Liz Walker, LPC, is a licensed professional therapist at Catalpa’s Appleton Treatment Center. She has a special interest in trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, and children dealing with sexual abuse. Passionate about seeing children progress in therapy and functioning in a positive way, she sees patients ages 4-18.
Liz believes the relationship that a child has with his or her family is a very important part of therapy, and feels that respect, compassion, dedication, and support help build a strong relationship for the utmost benefit for the child.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from UW-Oshkosh and her Master’s in Counseling from Lakeland College. She is nationally certified as a Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) counselor.
Outside of work, Liz enjoys camping, biking and sailing on Lake Winnebago with her family and labradoodle Koira in the summer, and both downhill and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter.
