
Micayla Fritsch MSW, APSW
Post Graduate Therapist Trainee
Micayla Fritsch, MSW, APSW, is a post graduate therapist trainee and currently works with clients at Catalpa’s Appleton location. She has a specific interest in working with anxiety disorders and the LGBTQ+ community. Her approach to treatment is to meet kids and teens where they are and support them in developing skills to manage symptoms and improve their quality of life.
She earned her Bachelors of Social Work with a minor in Human Development and emphasis in Child Welfare and her Masters of Social Work with a Clinical Emphasis while attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Micayla is also a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW).
Micayla believes that children are truly resilient and capable of making change. She is passionate about supporting those kids who are struggling now, so they can feel empowered and strong in their future.
Outside of work, Micayla enjoys spending time with friends and family and getting outside to kayak and ski. She also like to read, cook, and spend time with her cat, Gus.
