Michelle Michener LPC
Mental Health Therapist
Michelle Michener, LPC, is a licensed mental health therapist working in the Appleton Area School District. She received her BA in Psychology from UW-Oshkosh, and her MAC from Lakeland College (with a dual emphasis in Community Counseling and School Counseling).
Michelle has a special interest in treating children dealing with trauma, divorce, LGBTQ needs, and social struggles.
Michelle believes making a genuine connection with the child is the most important part of therapy. She takes the time to get to know the client as a unique individual, and build a plan for therapy based on their unique strengths. She uses humor frequently in her sessions.
Outside of work Michelle enjoys reading, music, attending concerts, boating, and spending time with family and pets.
