7th Annual Pop! Event Raises Over $220,000 to Support Catalpa Health Programs

APPLETON, Wis(October 9, 2023) – Catalpa Health, a mental health and wellness service provider for children and adolescents in the Fox Valley, hosted its 7th annual Pop! event on September 9, 2023. The event raised $220,00 to support the programs offered at Catalpa Health.

“We are truly grateful for how our sponsors, donors, and community partners linked arms with us to support pediatric psychiatric and mental health services for our children,” said Dr. Tracy Guiou, President and CEO of Catalpa Health. “This event would not be possible without them!”

This year’s event popped up at the MAXAIR hangar, and the 280 guests spent the night surrounded by vintage Pan Am glam. The event program focused on the impact service delays have on families and how the funds raised at Pop! and throughout the year help reduce wait times and improve access to services. With many families waiting weeks or months to receive care, funding is a crucial part of addressing the growing need.

“Pop! is always a night of fun and festivities, but it’s about more than that,” said Shaun Gunderson, Board Chair for Catalpa Health. “This annual event plays a crucial role in Catalpa’s ability to continue serving nearly 9,000 children and adolescents each year to improve their mental well-being and provide support for affected families while also reducing the stigma surrounding these issues.”

SAVE THE DATE! Pop! 2024 will be popping up again next year on Saturday, September 14, 2024! While we can’t share any additional details about the theme or location yet, follow along through social media or at https://catalpahealth.org/pop to be sure you get all the Pop! updates.
