Amber Robinson

Amber Robinson, LPC, is a licensed mental health clinician working with clients at Catalpa’s Appleton clinic. She specializes in treating symptoms that present as anxiety, depression, trauma, and ADHD. She has a special interest in supporting clients who have previous or current involvement in foster care and are needing healing from a traumatic experience.

Amber believes that everyone who seeks out treatment should be rewarded, as taking that first step into receiving treatment is difficult. When stepping into her office, she wants everyone to feel safe and comfortable. She understands that therapy comes with the territory of building trust and is willing to build that trust, regardless of the time span it takes. For parents, Amber encourages frequent communication to ensure client care outside of session and encourages communication on needs that are not being met. She uses a person-centered philosophy as each individual is unique and provides a variety of tools to use to help each person feel success in whatever they are struggling with.

In her journey to becoming a therapist, Amber earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Lakeland College and her master’s in Community Counseling from Lakeland University.

Amber brings with her tools she has acquired through the 9 years of working in different psychology fields which includes ABA therapy, residential and day treatment facilities, in home therapy, and private practice.

Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her family, which includes watching movies, playing games and baking. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and going for walks.
