Amy Gunderson

Amy C. Gunderson, MS, CSW, LPC, is a licensed mental health clinician who specializes in behavioral problems, including anger management, school struggles, and relationship problems. She also has experience working with families with children who have special needs, including autism spectrum disorders. She sees children and adolescents ages three to 18, along with their families.

Amy is licensed in professional counseling and is a certified social worker. She is also certified in trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy.

Amy received her Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis on children and adolescents from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. As a mental health clinician, she focuses on the strengths and needs of the client and family in order to help them build better relationships, develop healthy family boundaries, and improve overall functioning.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, relaxing with a cup of coffee or tea, and cooking and baking.

When joining your therapist’s waiting room, please use your (PREFERRED FIRST NAME, LAST NAME) in the cue. Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
