Anna Schell, M.S., is a doctoral trainee for Catalpa Health. She has a specific interest in working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship issues. Her approach to therapy is patient-centered and evidence-based, typically focusing on CBT methods. She believes that development and attachment styles play a large role in ways of thinking and behavioral outcomes.
Anna attended college at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in at-risk youth, and is currently attending the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology in Milwaukee to earn her doctorate in clinical psychology.
Anna focuses on creating trusting relationships that allow youth to feel comfortable conversing, expressing, and processing their emotions. She is truly passionate about helping others through their times of need and finding happiness through a collective reflection on client progress. By providing a space that allows individuals to feel seen, heard, and validated, we can prioritize mental health, which can be a foundation for a resilient, successful lifestyle.
Outside of work, Anna enjoys dancing, writing, and playing with her two cats.
