Anna Szyperek, LPC, NCC, is a mental health therapist who works with children ages 5 to 18. She is especially interested in these areas: parent/child conflict, relationship issues, attachment issues, self-esteem, LGBTQ+ issues, emotional regulation, anxiety, and depression. A Licensed Professional Counselor, she is recognized as a Nationally Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Science with a double major in psychology and human development from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and a Master of Science in Education in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
She believes that, when provided with the right resources, everyone has the ability to thrive. She starts the therapeutic relationship by meeting children and their families where they are and works to instill hope and build resiliency. She employs cognitive behavioral therapy, a focus on family systems, and person-centered and mindfulness approaches in her work.
Outside of Catalpa, Anna loves spending time with family and friends, running, biking, cross-country skiing, and playing with her two pups.

Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
