Carmen Meuret, MSW, APSW, is a postgraduate therapist trainee and currently works with clients at Catalpa’s Appleton location. She has a specific interest in cultivating self-compassion in children and adolescents, trauma-informed care, and mood and anxiety disorders. Her approach to treatment is to walk beside each client on their therapeutic journey by empowering them to see their strengths and abilities while working to reach their goals in meaningful ways.
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire and obtained her Master of Social Work while attending the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for her graduate work. Carmen is also a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker (CAPSW) with a clinical emphasis.
Carmen believes that mental health is the foundation for flourishing in your life and wants to help others strengthen their mental health and wellness. She is passionate about this career path, from witnessing family members on their own journey with mental health and being able to serve others through her role. Humbled to join clients on their journey, she looks forward to witnessing moments of personal growth with everyone.
Outside of work, Carmen enjoys getting outside to hike and bike, playing piano and discovering new music, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
