Jill Jensen, MSW, APSW, is a post-graduate therapist trainee at Catalpa Health. She works with children with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, anger issues, adjustment disorders, suicidal ideation, and self-harm behaviors. She is interested in low self-esteem, body image concerns, and LGBTQIA+ issues. Her eclectic approach to therapy draws on multiple techniques that are suited to the specific and unique needs of the client and their family. She commonly utilizes a person-centered and strength-based approach while incorporating CBT, DBT, and interventions that utilize expressive art. She sees clients ages 5-18.

Jill is passionate about her work because it allows her to work with individuals from all walks of life. She has the opportunity to meet them where they are and honor them as experts in their own experiences. She believes that everyone deserves to be heard and to know that what they’re saying or feeling truly matters.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and her Master of Social Work (MSW) with an emphasis in clinical mental health from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
