Katie McMurry, APSW, is a post-graduate therapist trainee at Catalpa Health. She works with children with anxiety and depression and is interested in self-esteem struggles, emotion regulation, and parent-child conflict. Her approach to treatment covers a variety of treatments, including strengths-based, person-centered, DBT, and CBT. She sees clients ages 4-18.
She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Sociology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and her Master’s of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Katie is passionate about the kids and families that she supports because by helping them, she knows they will have a better and brighter future.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys watching sports, being outdoors, and spending time with her cat.

Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
