Mental Health Therapist
Kayla Aleson, MSW, LCSW, is a school-based mental health therapist working through the Rise Up program in the Oshkosh Area School District. She specializes in working with those with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and low self-esteem/body image. She enjoys using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with strengths-based and mindfulness interventions.
Kayla earned her Master’s in Social Work degree with an emphasis in mental health from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping. She also enjoys playing card and board games and spending time with family and friends.
When joining your therapist’s waiting room, please use your (PREFERRED FIRST NAME, LAST NAME) in the cue. Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
