Post-Graduate Therapist Trainee
Kelsey Larsen, MSW, LSSW, APSW, is a post-graduate therapist trainee at Catalpa Health. She has a specific interest in working with anxiety, depression, peer and family relationships, and ADHD. She is also passionate about faith-based integrations and understanding the importance of each client’s faith values as part of their treatment plan. Her approach to treatment is to meet the needs of each client where they are while recognizing that everyone heals and grows in their own time and way. She is committed to empowering her clients to use coping skills, self-advocacy, and healthy boundaries so they can conquer challenges and thrive. She sees clients ages 5-12.
She earned her BS from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and her Master of Social Work while attending Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI).
Kelsey is passionate about early intervention to help kids understand they never have to face anything alone. Her desire to advocate for and support growth in her clients is something she has known from a young age, was her biggest purpose.
Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Tucker, and volunteering with her church youth group. She also loves a good game or movie night with her friends!
