Kyra Piette, MSE, LPC-IT, NCC, is a post-graduate therapist trainee and currently working with clients at Catalpa’s Appleton location. Kyra has experience working with children ages 5-18 with a variety of mental health needs. She has experience working with individuals in a variety of locations, including clinics, school-based mental health, jail, and prison settings. Kyra is a Nationally Certified Counselor by the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Kyra holds a bachelor of science with a major in Psychology, a minor in neurosciences, and a certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and a Master of Science in Education in Professional Counseling from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
Kyra believes in building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients to facilitate growth and healing. Kyra utilizes an integrative approach to therapy that incorporates person-centered therapy, trauma-informed approaches, and collaborative approaches and applies the study of neuroscience to understand brain development and functioning.
Outside work, Kyra loves spending time with her family and friends, hiking, yoga, and playing with her dog.

Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
