Dr. Laura Goggins, DNP, APNP, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a member of Catalpa Health’s psychiatric team. She has a comprehensive and holistic focus on care, including medication management for mental illness. She sees children and adolescents ages 5-18.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Carroll College, an Associate degree in Nursing from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Laura began her nursing career in 2013 and has worked in inpatient mental health settings.
As a nurse practitioner, Laura is passionate about supporting improvement in patients and being a positive impact on their treatment. Laura believes every individual is unique, and she works with the patient and their family to identify strengths and needs and then creates an individualized treatment plan. She believes mental health treatment is a collaborative effort between the patient, their family, and their provider team. They all work together to obtain optimal health and functioning for the patient. Laura is excited about the growing incorporation of telehealth services to improve access to care.
In addition to her work, Laura likes to spend time with her husband, two children, two cats, and two dogs.

Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
