Lauren Kazik

Lauren Kazik, MA, LPC, is a licensed mental health clinician who works as an intake specialist providing diagnostic assessments and recommendations for care plans for clients during their initial intake appointment. She meets with children/adolescents and their families who are new to Catalpa, completes an initial evaluation to better understand their concern areas and history, and then connects them with the appropriate treatment services that will support them as they navigate and work through their concerns.

She has a special interest in anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, self-harm, suicidal ideation, family concerns, and adjustment issues and bases her practice on a strengths-based, solution-focused approach.

Lauren earned her bachelor’s in psychology and criminal justice from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and her master’s in counseling from Lakeland College.

Outside of Catalpa, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, extended family, and friends, attending/coaching her children’s school and extracurricular activities, playing with her dog, traveling, being outdoors, watching movies, and relaxing.
