Sydney Courtney

Sydney Courtney, LPC-IT, is a post-graduate therapist trainee at Catalpa Health. She has a specific interest in ADHD, anxiety, LGBTQIA+ issues, tabletop role-playing therapy, and expressive art therapy. She is also passionate about getting to know what makes each client unique and collaborating with them to find what works best for them. Her approach to treatment is to find creative solutions and to take the time to truly listen to her client’s needs. She sees clients ages 8-18.

She earned her BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Master of Education in Professional Counseling with a clinical mental health emphasis from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys playing video games and exploring creative pursuits like art and writing. She is also an avid Dungeons and Dragons fan and loves spending time and playing games with friends.

When joining your therapist’s waiting room, please use your (PREFERRED FIRST NAME, LAST NAME) in the cue. Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
