Tia Irish, MS, LPC-IT, NCC, is a mental health therapist post-graduate trainee working with clients from 6-18 years of age. She works with many different presenting issues, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, adjustment, mood disorders, suicidal ideation/risk, self-esteem, grief, and LBGTQ+. She predominantly uses a Client-Centered approach while adding expressive arts, mindfulness, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy to meet the unique needs of the client.
Tia believes that the client is the expert in their life and is there to help them learn more about themselves and facilitate the change that the client and family are looking for. Tia comes to each session with a smile on her face, ready to give a listening ear, utilizing unique analogies, and sprinkling in some humor throughout.
Tia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology at Carroll University and her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Illinois University. She is certified by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services as a Licensed Professional Counselor – In Training. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
In her free time, Tia enjoys playing soccer, coloring, playing with her dog, reading, going on walks, especially on the beach, amusement parks, watching sports, and being surrounded by her family and friends.

Please be sure you and your parent/guardian are in a CONFIDENTIAL and SEDENTARY SPACE (not in a moving vehicle) prior to joining your therapist’s waiting room. Patients and parents/caregivers MUST be in Wisconsin for the appointment.
